VDK-5

The VDK-5, with it's high-grade steel blade and glow-in-the-dark handle, will greatly aid Electricians that perform most of their work in dark locations. The fluorescent handle requires only 2-3 minutes of exposure to sunlight or lamplight to "charge". Now any user will know exactly where the knife is at all times, helping to prevent accidents from occurring.

Locking Holder
When not in use, always keep the knife in the holder with the safety lock enabled

• 1. Slide the sleeve down and insert the knife into the holder
• 2. Slide the sleeve upward until you hear a CLICK, indicating the the knife is safely secured in the holder

How to Use the Ceramic Sharpener
Wear a non-slip glove and confirm the are is clear of other people before using this sharpener

The included ceramic sharpener can be used to touch-up the blade surface.

1. Hold the sharpener firmly and place the blade on the ceramic rollers
2. Slide the one face of the blade in the direction of the arrow

3. Repeat for the other blade side, as both sides should be properly sharpened

4. Chipped blades cannot be sharpened with the ceramic sharpener. Please used an oiled sharpening stone to sharpen chipped blades
